Causes of Stress among Children

“I am too stressed as of now!”- It is common to hear such things almost every day. Taking into account various assertions of science, it can be said that stress is the natural response of the body while a person gets surrounded by challenging situations. Stress can influence everybody including kids, adolescents, and adults.
These days even young children are being affected by stress and anxiety on regular basis. The world has become so competitive that there is extreme pressure on little kids to fulfil the expectations of their parents as well as teachers.
Well there are numerous reasons that may add to the stress of the young ones, some of these reasons are mentioned below:
  • Homework
This is a well-known fact that majority of the students feel that homework in no less than a huge burden on their tiny shoulders. A lot of surveys suggest that homework is the number one reason why children feel stressed. This stress can be reduced if the guardians help their children to do their homework. Even a little bit of guidance is enough.
  • Tuitions
A lot of children feel tied up due to tuitions. Running to tuitions at fixed time everyday seemsmonotonous to them. Children also feel that tuition eats up their play time. Parents must ensure that their children go to a good tuition centre where the tutor is experienced enough to teach the students in a stress-free way.
  • Tensed family environment
If a child witnesses arguments and fights in the family then there are chances that the child would be negatively affected by it.Constant quarrel between parents may cause unrest in the mind of a child. Parents should maintain a peaceful and loving environment at home.

Tips for resolving marital problems

The divorce rate is gradually increasing in our country as couples nowadays fail to resolve their marital issues. It is a fact that not every marriage remains blissful forever. Couples might face difficulties and issues at certain points in their life. But they must remain hopeful that there are ways to resolve these problems.

From my personal experience I believe that honest efforts and determination are enough to solve the marital issues. In case you are facing problems in your marriage then try following tips given below:
Communicate in an honest way
Poor communication is one of the main reasons for conflicts in a marriage. The bond of communication between the couples must remain strong. Most of the marital issues can get resolved with the good communication. Communicate your problem in an honest way and trust me that your partner will make effort to understand you.
Avoid making negative comments
I have often observed that couples start passing negative comments on their partner during argument. But you must avoid passing negative comments on your partner intentionally. Though offense in a marital relationship is tough to eradicated, you should try as much as you can, not to inflict physical damage on your partner as it will worse your relationship.
Make efforts by controlling your anger
If you really want to resolve your marital problems, than you have to learn to control your anger. Most of the problems in marriages today are as a result of couples not knowing how to control anger. You have to show maturity in handling problems of marital life.
Don’t keep waiting for your partner to make the move rather make effort to save your relationship.

Importance of de-stressing

No one wants to live in the environment full of stress and negative energy. In this time, when everybody is in hustle to conquer the world, we forget to spend some quality time and moments to enjoy the beauty of life and this continuous work without any break and relief causes stress.
After facing continuous challenges on the personal as well as professional basis, an individual started to make place for tension and worries in his life. Several researches have showed that these tensions are the source of stress and depression and leads to severe health issues like upset stomach, headaches, elevated blood pressure, chest pain, and insomnia etc.

Taking relief and relaxation is the process of De-stress.  It is done in order to avoid the side effects of stress. Many studies have found that many youngsters started to smoke and get addicted to drugs and alcohols to make them stress-free but while trying to relieve the stress they fail to understand that these substances tend to take the body in more stressed state and make the situation worse.
Though dealing with stress seems a complex task, but can be done by firm dedication and adequate attention. De-stressing is important to regain the lost charm, joy and happiness of the life and it can be found with the counseling sessions.
Dr. Sanjoy Mukerji’ believes that stress affects the quality of life, relationships, work environment as well as our social life. And without attending counseling sessions we find ourselves incapable of finding the reasons behind the stress. You can ensure a healthy and lively lifestyle by triggering out the pressure of stress through timely counseling.
